Here is an update on Sky Ranch events for the year.

March 1-3 IMAC Judging School - sanction is complete

April 27-28 IMAC Event - sanction is complete

May 23 - 25 Classic Warbird Event - sanction is complete

Nov 1 -3 IMAC Event - sanction pending

Dec 6 -8 HG Sky Ranch Toys-for-Tots Event - sanction pending

At this time I have no idea what the club plans for other events.

The landing fee per pilot is $10/day for non-members. This applies during events as well. Each event sponsor/coordinator is welcome to charge whatever he wants from his attendees, but the HG Barnstormer club will still require $10/day for every AMA pilot that utilizes the field. This is to be paid by the coordinator in one lump sum at the end of the event.

If participants in the event are club members, we will not expect landing fees from them, but that doesn't mean the event organizers or group can't charge a landing fee for the participation, it just means we won't ask for the $10/day from/for that individual.

It's best if you make checks payable to HG Barnstormers for the pilot landing fees.

RV Hookups are mine and Sean's and we manage those ourselves. We will collect the usage fees, so the event planners/coordinators will not have to. The Sky Ranch recoups the fees for the hookups.

We have 16 RV hookups on the flight line and 2 more on the other side of the road. There are two 50 amp hookups and they have already been reserved for the first 2 events this year.

50 amp service is $35/night; 30 amp service is $25/night
All hookups have water. There is no dumping.

RV camping and tent camping without hookups is $15/night. This also includes anyone sleeping in back of their trailer. This covers our cost of showers/cleanup and trash collection.

Please have your guests contact me for RV sites.

We will have a designated trash collection site for BAGGED trash only. I will take it to the dump daily.

There is a new BBQ joint in town. It's tasty. The owners wants to cater our events. Please let me know if this interests any of you.

The clubhouse is dried in, but has no interior. We have limited power and lighting inside, but it will be adequate for classroom learning. There is a kitchen with a working sink, but cold water only. There is a hot water wash station at the Snoopy Pavilion on the flight line however. I have 2 long tables and 15 plastic chairs available. Sean constructed some marvelous outdoor seating/tables that really make the club house wonderful, and will make serving lunch/dinner a pleasure. The club house kitchen is designed with a serving window for any vendors.
